I have been in the photography world for the last fifteen years off and on in various types of photography. I got my start in "professional " photography as a part time photographer with a pro hockey team in the East Coast Hockey League as a team photographer. I worked home and away games photographing live game action. I also covered community and other social events for the team. Since then I have expanded my phographic experiences and training. I have obtained training and certification in forensic photography for crime scenes and evidence as well as technical photography for fire investigation and cause determination. I have also attended several workshops and classes on various different photography skills and related practices and continue to do so on a regular basis. About three years ago I relocated south to North Carolina and after about a year and a half hiatus from any major photography work I found myself in a position where I had the opportunity to consider making photography my full time career as well as go back to school to further my education. So for the last eight months I have been working my way back into the photography world in a new area. I have also branched out and started to explore more types and styles of photography to work on finding out what exactly niche I may be best at. I have also really taken an interest in the editing and retouching process.

I would like to be a member of this great and desired community for many reasons. Mostly however due to the fact that it is such a well known resource and platform for the industry and anyone that's anyone is on here. The other big reason is to continue to build my brand in a positive way and get it out to a wider platform and be able to communicate with others to hopefully find people to collaborate with and create great projects with. In addition I also enjoy seeing and appreciating other artists works they can inspire and build creativity .
