Introduction:
Hello my name is Grey Johnson, and I am a fine art nude photographer based in Baltimore, MD. I have been drawn to the world of art from an early age (8 years old was the first time I visited the Smithsonian Institute) and this is my outlet where I can continue to peruse my passion for photography.

Personal Photography Goal:
To document inspirational & beautiful individuals who are looking to collaborate and create great art with a like-minded soul.

Philosophy:
My philosophy on fine art nude photography includes a focus on liberation from body shame, as well as celebrating the uniqueness, vulnerability, and beauty of the human form. I want the viewer of my work to see a self-assured and open individual who is willing to put their best selves forward and walk away with an appreciation that someone has literally shared their soul with you. I wish for the subject of my work to feel liberated, empowered, enjoy in participating in the experience.

My personal practice in life as well as in art is a minimalist approach. I believe you can make a very powerful statement if given only the appropriate tools needed. Take a dash of shadow here, an angle change there and one has the opportunity to create something beautiful, meaningful, and timeless. In my photos I try to strive for simplicity, elegance, emotion, boldness, and insight. I attempt to shoot with purpose and give my work meaning. I look to embrace diversity including all colors, shapes, and sizes as my subjects as I believe this reflects the diversity of the world we live in.

My ideal collaborator/muse:
I am interested in working with Individuals who are very comfortable in their own skin, or at least learning to be. I want to capture the poise, strength, and vulnerability of each individual. My ideal subjects are confident with who they are and are not seeking approval, permission, or acceptance from external factors for personal validation.
