I, Hanan Majid, was brought up in war. Growing up in conflict casts a strange effect on one’s looks, on the eyes mainly. A photographer I met recently repeatedly said that my eyes have “character.” It’s the shadow of the conflict I spend my childhood in, perhaps . I intend on using my ability of emoting the agony of conflict, especially in photographs. My intention of joining MM is to catapult into a mainstream modeling, only to challenge the accepted norms of the industry. I can tell as whole story without even speaking a word just by looking at the picture. Modeling must go beyond the vanity of pleasing looks. It, to me, is the reflection of one’s conscience, something that depicts the angels and demons deep within us. Models need not be mere pieces of aesthetic, but lively directories of emotions. MM will put me in the company of those who can help me realize my vision of modeling.
I have done modeling for some class projects but I want to enhance my talent and reach the top of success.
