Hello! My name Miaghen but I go by Mia or Ms Diva Mia. Just recently graduated Ohio University with my Bachelor of Special Studies in Dance, Sociology/Criminology, and Real Estate at Ohio University and currently residing in Cleveland, Ohio.

I come from a diverse family upbringing that provided many opportunities for learning and personal growth. I was born in Monrovia, Liberia and moved to Athens, OH when I was 4 years old. These African influences in the household contributed significantly to my world view. I am extremely proud of my heritage and appreciate the uniqueness that comes from my background and upbringing. I can truly appreciate new cultures, new people and what they have to offer the world.

As a child, aside from dance and music, I was involved in various small runway shows sponsored by the stores in our local mall. In 2005, I was the first model for Pierre International Models, a modeling agency based in Florida and Georgia mainly. I did several shoots and runway shows in Jacksonville, Florida with this agency up until I moved back to Ohio in 2007. I’ve been a silent partner ever since. With that background, I represented Liberia as a model in the runway show for the 2013 Women’s International Day at Ohio University.

This year, I decided to get back into modeling and did a small promotional shoot for Dropkick Apparel based out of Akron, OH, was published in Portfolio Fashion Magazine, have done a couple fashion shows one being Dinner By Design for the Ohio Hip Hop Awards.

Although I have many passions I’d like to pursue, I’m still very interested in seeing if there’s a place for me in the modeling world. I am friendly, easy to work with, bubbly, fun, hardworking and goal orientated. Also willing to travel but due to distance, compensation may need to be discussed.
