Hello lovely people! I made this account to find TFP models for a specific art piece I'm working on about power and oppression.

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR:
I'm looking for people of ALL body-types, races, genders, looks, etc. This is a tarot-themed project, but is not tied to any sect of wicca/paganism/any other religion, so symbols of the models' own beliefs are totally fine and models who wear hijabs, yarmulkes, or other religious garments are encouraged to participate. The piece is simply using some terotological mythologies to express contemporary social issues/attitudes. I will be doing styling for the majority of the pieces, minus a few that require more complicated work. I'd like to note that I'm open to your styling suggestions, since I know everyone has preferences that make them feel more comfortable (for example, I HAVE to do my own lipstick when I'm in front of the camera, because I feel like even the most talented MUAs make my lips look really, really, really tiny :P )

I totally understand safety worries regarding meeting up with strangers, so if you feel more comfortable bringing a friend, I am very open to discussing this and will not be offended!

The only people who are excluded from participating are racist, homophobic, transphobic, anti-immigration, ableist, sexist/anti-feminist individuals. Trust me— you wouldn't like my art anyway!

While you won't receive typical portfolio images, you WILL receive a professional-quality original cyanotype of at least one of the pieces you're in (this can be digitized if you do feel like it would fit into your portfolio, though!) as well as a copy of the complete final work when it's done. If you really feel like you need at least one traditional digital image out of the shoot, we can discuss this. :)



ABOUT ME:
I am an artist, but not primarily a photographer— this project just happens to call for a photography element. I am also a classical musician, activist, and work with rare books. I recently moved to Orange, CA from Philadelphia, PA with my partner, who just started grad school here. We miss Philly/NY a lot, but are learning to enjoy the west coat. I've uploaded a handful of images from my few dalliances with photography in the past, most of which happen to be self-portraits or portraits of my best friend. These are not necessarily representative of my current work, but I wanted to prove that I know how to click all the buttons on a camera :P
