NOTE: i am moving to the Big Island of Hawai'i in July 2022. My gear is all packed and ready for the transport container, so I am on a forced hiatus from photo shoots. It will take 2 months for my things to arrive and then even more time to settle in and be ready for shoots.
I will continue to accept friend requests and contact for future shoots, just please understand how hectic this move is and accept it will be a while before I can fire up my strobes again.

I prefer natural and will as happily shoot naked face or with makeup. I do not make models look like manikins in post; I'm about the person, not an unachievable ideal.

I have been behind the camera for 40+ years as I have always had a deep passion for photography. I see models as people, not "the talent" or "the subject" or "my model"; credit for images is always given, and it's understood the model is half of every image.

I pride myself on being a professional in everything I do. I aim for a relaxed and pressure-free working atmosphere with no judgement. I strive to earn the trust and friendship of everyone I work with. I will work with models of all levels of experience.

Unless we've worked together before and there is solid trust between us, I will not pay pre-shoot deposits due to a bad situation with a model and no help from Model Mayhem.
If you require a deposit, I sincerely wish you all the best in your career and working with photographers who will take that risk.
