Hi there!

I've always been a nature and lifestyle photographer, capturing lots of surprising moments or observing a scene that no one else often sees. Yet, I haven't settled as that kind of a photographer. Every day, I am passionate about photography. I'm going a full circle, always expanding to other areas of photography (macro, wildlife, street, product, and food, etc.) Whether it's just spending a day with my camera in hand or just spend every waking moment studying or reading photography books, blogs, websites and tutorials and refining my practice. I've not even gone to photography school!

Recently, I've developed an interest in portrait and fashion photography. My studies have led me to learn all about lighting, flash, studio, styling and posing. In order to reflect my style, I want to take what I love about nature and blend it with a model subject. Both indoors and outdoors I'm inspired by fashion photography but I want to also take an approach with editorial photography combining the practices together to create visually compelling imagery.

Self-taught as I may be, there is always something more to learn. Yet, I want my creativity to make a difference in the world. I see myself as a creative director one day, as the head of my own studio. I would have many clients but also many photographers under my wing. I could even do consulting work for many companies that want creative refinements to their organization. I won't deny that there is a long road ahead of me. If I can keep pushing along I know I will make it there - but it's really the journey there that I am enjoying. Each week I feel as if I learn something new and do so quickly, and that reaffirms to me that this is something I am great at.

I've become interested in fashion and portrait photography since my days as a landscape and nature photographer, and desire to create unique and compelling imagery. My style is to blend nature and fashion, as an homage to my interest in nature and landscape. I am also motivated to try styles of urban and street fashion as well as studio work indoors.

Self-taught as I may be, I am still learning about photography. My goal is to enter the photography industry and become a creative director of my own studio. Until then, I want to have many different experiences and enjoy the journey to that goal.
