I'm Mae Carter! I'm from the east coast originally, but I have grown up all over the world and now reside near Tucson, Arizona. I'm a freelance published model and a full-time student studying Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Library and Information Science, and Japanese Language Studies. I have a passion not only for the sciences, but also for the art of self-expression. I have been modeling for about a year now, and got my start in modeling for fine art projects at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. I have a background with a small amount of theater and dance. My experience in both the arts and the sciences allow for me to be artistically versatile in all facets of art.

Fun fact about me: I am blind in one eye! It shows slightly in photos that are taken of me, since my blind eye may or may not show up slightly crooked in pictures. (I was one of those eye-patch kids growing up, but the pirate life on the high seas didn't quite work for me. So, college life to be a scientist it is.) I love modeling, blind eye and all, because I strive to be an inspiration to others that may have a visual impairment like myself.

Due to working and scientific research, my schedule allows for a somewhat flexible schedule, yet I prioritize all paid shoots due to necessity. My schedule allows for little room for TF/TFP shoots, but I am open to collaborating with you to make a worthwhile, beautiful piece! If you want to get in touch with me to arrange a photoshoot, please include the following in your message:

- Whether or not it is a TF/paid shoot.
-The amount of time you wish to book me for a shoot, along with a tentative date.
-What type of photoshoot concept you have in mind.

I am very punctual to all of my shoots that I arrange with photographers and collaborators. I bring several extra outfits to arranged photoshoots, however this is not the case if the photographer/team that I am collaborating with has specified otherwise. I do my own HMUA, unless a HMUA is provided by the photographer for the shoot. I contribute creative ideas as we go, along with communicating to explore different concepts with the team that I work with during shoots!
