Raised in Clearwater, Florida, Lacey Buccina discovered her love for the arts at the early age of 7. She freehanded a postcard that was sent to her by her grandmother and being proud of her work, she showed her drawing to her mother. The following week she was enrolled in painting classes.

With an art background and a passion for creativity, Lacey took advantage of every opportunity to enroll in any art class she could. As she grew older her friends and family members asked for makeovers which is where her love for makeup began to blossom. She then did makeup for proms and special events when asked, simply because of her love for it.

After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Lacey decided to try her luck in the Big Apple. There she worked as an Account Executive for a fashion company in NYC for three years. Although the fashion industry was fun and a great learning experience, Lacey knew her passion was for makeup. She then enrolled at the Make-up Designory in Los Angeles.

Making the decision to follow her dream of becoming a makeup artist has been the most invigorating decision of her life. Lacey strives to become a versatile makeup artists who works in all fields of the industry.

Since graduating from the Makeup Designory, Lacey has gone on to win the Battle of the Brushes competition hosted in New York City for international beauty. She has been published in the Makeup Artist Magazine and has worked for Universal Studios in Hollywood California.

Lacey recently moved from Los Angeles California to Clearwater, Florida to be closer to family and is looking to continue to build her portfolio and grow as an artist.
