Kemilembe (Kemi) Kamugisha was born and raised in New York. From a very young age, she has had a passion for making people feel beautiful.

Always focused on this goal, Kemi began Capri Cosmetology Learning Center while in her senior year of high school, graduating six months after her high school graduation. She immediately began a fast paced career in the beauty industry as a freelance makeup hairstylist and makeup artist, even throughout college, and hasn’t stopped since.

Kemi’s signature style of enhancing your natural beauty has attracted clients who don’t want to look “made up”, as she wants her clients to feel good about who they are. Her professional yet calm and friendly demeanor, make her clients feel at ease and more prepared for their special event.
