I am Daniel Bates. My wife and I are the photography team that make up Bates Photography. We are Sony Shooters and use mostly Zeiss or Sony Zeiss lenses. We shoot Nature, Street, Portrait, and Fashion/Model. We have been hobby shooting since college and Pro shooting for a little over a year. We do a lot of outdoor shoots combining natural light with High Speed Sync Flash. We use Lightroom only to preserve the integrity of what was actually being shot. To continue our evolution we are always doing workshops with different pros. It is important to us to have varied perspectives on different aspects of photography. Recently we have begun working with Jason Lanier at his workshops. Pretty cool learning techniques from the next Fashion Photographer for Vogue.
