About Me

I am a published photographer working on a project called Observer Observed where I take portraits to capture the gaze of the subject.  In these images I use the language of portraiture to represent the identities of those who are observers themselves. The gaze is the seat of power traditionally held by the photographer. By inverting this tradition a different gaze is revealed. One that is more feminine, thoughtful and complex than the spectacle of the nude.
