About Me

A.L. Ash (b.1986) is a Visual Artist trained in the classical realist tradition. After completing his university level studies in 2010, he travelled around North America and Europe to pursue his formal education in fine arts. He works mainly from life and pursues figurative, portraiture and plein air subjects.. His dream is to help oversee the resurgence of Classical Realism in Canada. Ash currently teaches and resides in Montreal.
