Growing up in Washington DC I was always a fixture in the museums. I used to stare at the artwork and marvel at the landscape. When I was able to afford a point and shoot camera I jumped at the opportunity but I just wasn't getting the results I wanted. After years of just working I decided that I was going to invest in a DSLR. Originally I was into landscape photography and began to post pictures on Instagram. A friend asked me to photograph her family reunion and told me she would pay me. Honestly, I wasn't confident at all that I was able to do the job but I surprised myself! This is when I became interested in shooting people. Now I have accomplished some of the most beautiful portraits that I've ever seen. I've even photographed Local DMV Emmy Award Winners. I love portrait photography and want to share that love with you.
