Hi there!

My name is Jessica Armas, or as some people know me 'Faevylyn Willow'. I am currently residing in Oakville but have hopes of moving to Toronto within the next year or so to kick start my career! I am a recent graduate from Sheridan College and have obtained my Honours Bachelor Degree of Photography. During my four years spent in college, I have developed a personal style that combines whimsical themes while incorporating fashion into the mix! When I am not photographing themes based on fairy tales, I am spending time in the studio working on more contemporary, colourful, and fun fashion themes.
I absolutely adore working with people and being able to create their dream concepts and bring them to life. My favourite part of the photographic process is all of the planning that goes into each and every shoot and seeing it all come together. I am determined to expand my current knowledge of photography and continue to build my portfolio as I believe photography is a never ending learning experience. My dream is to one day be a successful fashion photographer that tell stories through her photographs. I am profoundly inspired by photographers such as; Tim Walker, Nick Knight, Bella Kotak, and Kareva Margarita and continue to strive to improve my work.
Photography has been a huge part of my life. I have always had a disposable camera by my side as a child and as I grew older I eventually bought my first DSLR. I never wanted to miss a moment, I always captured what meant the most to me. Photography has become a way of self-expression and a way to cope with reality. Despite all of this, it was my modelling career is what truly sparked my interest in photography, as I grew a curiosity of how the photography process worked and what made a photograph 'great'. The idea of creating makes me overjoyed that Photography is my career. I am ecstatic for the journey and experiences it will bring!
