Hello and thanks for visiting my page, In no particular order, I am a risk-taker, a traveler, and a humanitarian operating out of the tiny, back-end unit of an old, Victorian home in Raleigh, NC. Here is where my girls and I (wife, Cassandra and daughter, Amelia) have decided to put down roots.

I cannot take full credit for the name Alpaca Prints. It was Cassandra who came up with the idea over breakfast one morning. The mere suggestion transported me back to our honeymoon in Peru where we’d traveled with only a few goals in mind: to pet an Alpaca, to bring donations to a children’s school in Lima, and to share the exploration in between.

As a child my family traveled extensively, exposing me to a variety of experiences, people, and cultures along the way. It’s through these journeys that I gained insight into the human condition, and the universal need for love and compassion. Viewing the world through a lens, looking into the viewfinder, awakens my inner child to the inherent beauty in everyday subjects. That is where I shift from photographer to social scientist, and truly begin to better understand this extraordinary world around me. This is what fascinates me the most.
