March 31- Looks like spring on the Oregon coast!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am officially living my new life and shooting in Florence Oregon!! This place is amazing and I'm just walking distance from some fantastic shooting locations (think endless sand dunes). I'm also not far from  Eugene, Coos Bay, Crescent City and even Salem is doable-
This new life should allow me to publish my books, create web content, and shoot in some of the most amazing locations Oregon has to offer.
I've been a reporter and news photographer for almost 25 years and I'm taking my personal photography in a new, more cinematic direction but I need some help to pull this off. I'm now an editor but photography Is still my first love. One of my stringer reporters owns an abandoned ballroom in Florence and has given me permission to shoot inside- It's super-rough but I love the vibe. I just spent all of a day sweeping the floor and cleaning stuff up inside to make it ready for shoots.
My new life also finds me without a full-time muse, so if you’re interested in learning to shoot or model, perhaps I can help a bit and we can work together and share portfolio shots. I know TFP is a bit of a taboo word on this site, but it's the only card I have on a newspaper editor's salary. Models will receive a drive with all photos I take and permission to use, edit and publish them without restriction.

Shooting with me is casual and fun but also a great way to learn and try new things. Let's meet at a thrift store- pick out something fun and shoot in the nearest park. Let's find a second hand wedding dress and see if we can find a cop who will pretend to arrest you in it. Let's get a floor length ball gown and ask strangers to "pose like James Bond" with you. Let's find the most elegant clothes we can and pose in front of the crappiest cars we can find... I'm open to other ideas and am always coming up with something fun.

All I can offer is to share my time and art. I promise that you will find me respectful and patient at all times, as well as alert and mindful of your safety and security. I also love working with LGBTQ, CD, TG, TV models, and I'm willing to travel a bit for shoots.
