My name is Alissa but i go by Mona Lise. I've been in the industry for going on 4 years. I'm young and ready to put in the hard work to make it to where I want to be. All things art inspire me. when i was younger i started off drawing and kept doing so till i found out i had a knack for fashion and glamour. i still draw on my free time. I'm currently a certified make up artist for a major cosmetic brand. I also freelance in my area. But aside from that I want to get my name out there more and start doing editorial work. That's my ultimate goal is to be behind the scenes in big feature films for glam and special effects. I want to be an onsite artist for any event. I watch tv and observe what they were to how the hair is done to the glam and think I want to be behind the scenes. The ABC show Once upon a time is a great example. My favorite makeup artist is Angel Merino aka Mac Daddy. I aspire to work for celebrities, magazines, fashion shows, weddings etc. I want to be my own brand. I'm also a licensed cosmetologist. I will be adding hairstyling to my menu in a few months. I'm currently building my portfolio now but I do need more professional photographs of my work so I do not mind exchanging my time for prints. I'm in the lehigh Valley. But i am more than willing to travel for certain oppurtunities. i want to use this site to meet and make great connections with my fellow artists around the East coast. Im a people person whos creativty can run wild so i would love to help people think of ideas and directions for projects as well.
