Hello, my name is ,Tana Lara, I've been in the hair industry now for almost 12 years. I worked for a chain salon for two years, then I was also a commissioned stylist for three years. I am an independent hair artist now and have been one for almost six years. I rent a room in a suite and am currently still a full service salon.
In the last three years I have gravitated more towards styling, specialty hair and on-site hair services. I also do some contracting work for Rae Rochelle in Austin,Texas.
Temple,Texas (although I love the area) is a very slow and narrowed community for what I want to accomplish and eventually bring back to the area. I attended a photo shoot class today at the Armstrong McCall hair show in Austin, Texas and was very inspired. I was given your information as a possible connection to expand, get some exposure and network. I'm very experienced in bridal hair, classic updos and braiding styles. I'm wanting to venture out of just catering to that genre only and start doing more bold specialty styles and new environments. I would welcome any opportunity to prove that I could be an asset to your company and further both our objections.
