Brook Martello is a savvy and inventive makeup artist with experience in most avenues of makeup; print, runway, and bridal. Trained by renowned makeup artist David Nicholas, Brook launched a career that is now peppered with celebrity weddings, trend setting runway shows, and fashion photography.

Dealing with ambiguity has made Brook a well prepared artist. Making her not only detail-oriented but resourceful. Being multi-faceted lends adaptability to any situation which Brook feels is what adds to the success of any project. 

Brook grew up in a military family, finally settling in New Hampshire. Moving around instilled a love of the journey and a no fear perspective of life and passion. This translates in her love of making up faces. "If you want to wear blue eye shadow and hot pink lipstick to the market, go for it! Makeup is not about "rules" its about expressing yourself." Brook often extends this regard when asked "How should I wear my makeup?" "Obviously, not everyone is feeling turquoise and fuchsia, all the time at least. So who are you and what do you want makeup to do for you?" 

Brook has worked with MAC Cosmetics over the past year as a part of their free lancing team. She has recently had the opportunity to become a part of their permanent  team. "I have loved being around so many talented artist, it's been so creatively refreshing. It's going to be really exciting working for such an innovative company!"
