"Working with Riichi was very interesting and fun! He approached me with a great project in mind, representing two sides of the same coin: a woman with no make up on and a woman with artifice. It talked to me and raised a conversation on the private and the public face in Japanese society. I’m really grateful for being part of such a cool concept as I was only experiencing Japan as an outsider: it enabled me to learn more about Japan from a Japanese artist’s perspective.
