Aloha, I enjoy being outside in nature and in beautiful places and one of my favorite ways to get out into beautiful places and out of the studio is photography. I'm an artist more so than just a photographer. I'm very open minded easy going and willing to learn new things and have new experiences.. Always looking for a creative adventure to find beauty in myself as well as the people and nature around me. I originally purchased my first camera as means of reference for oil paintings, as an painter I naturally fell in love with the beauty that was possible looking through the lens. The complementary nature of the two is and will continue to shape and mold the future of my creativity and future works of art. For me it's a beautiful contrast as photography seems like instant gratification where oil paintings can take me hundreds of hours of compiling and layering paint to create an image.
My goal is to capture moments of natural expressions that convey an emotion and movement so that the onlooker can not only see the image but feel the movement and expression in it.
I'm interested in all types of photography so I landed here on MM to avoid the awkwardness of asking total strangers if they want to pose for some photos, which can be fun and exiting but I'm usually a little to shy for that kind of thing..
