I am a classical Oil/ Impressionist painter from San Francisco, and I am currently located in Friday Harbor Washington working out of Gallery Mystes Rising. I draw my creativity from nature and historical events. I do many reproductions as well as original paintings. I am inspired by the new classical painters such as Delacroix and Ingres. But I find myself drawn to the expression through color and form like the impressionists. I also consider myself more of craftsman who uses art as method to know the world better.
I enjoy sketching and painting free form when I can but always have several major oil pintings going at a time.
