My name is Latika. I am a Minnesota Native and I currently reside in Shakopee. Ever since I was young, I've loved being in front of the camera. I loved and still love taking snapshots of myself whenever possible.


I was always on the tall side for my age and I was self-conscious about it until middle school. I am black, caucasian and Native American with natural blonde hair and light, slightly tan skin. I hated my hair color growing up. I was such an unusual-looking person, that I got teased a lot. Kids in my school would call me albino, yellow-girl and other hurtful names. I decided to dye my hair dark when I got to nineth grade. I now embrace my natural color and its really helped me be proud of my uniqueness.

I look extremely young for my age and I am very photogenic. My boyfriend has been a model for 2 years now and I am tired of some of his photographers and people at his events, asking me why I dont model. I want to be able to say that I do and be able to network with passionate photographers.

I'm not looking to become a high-fashion supermodel at 26, but I do believe I've got great, strong features and would do well for artistic, abstract, editorial, or commercial work. I am a hard-working, ambitious person, and I work very well with others. I take directions well, and I learn fast. I'd say I have a very large range of styles. Everything from ultra edgy, to very young/tom-boyish. Even though I've got a lot of things ahead of me in life to take on, theres a large part of me that would rather not let such an interesting face, go to waste.
