Matthew Alan is a professionally trained Make-Up Artist in The San Fernando Valley. Born, raised, and currently living in Los Angeles, he has lived in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, and California's High Desert, which heavily influences his artistry to have that casual, laid-back feel that many desire. Matthew's style is to enhance the face's natural features using the transformative powers of make-up. He graduated from MUD in 2015 for Make-Up Artistry and Hair Styling.
He also attended Santa Monica College for Fashion Merchandising and Design. A highpoint, careerwise, was being given the chance to work LA Fashion Week for F/W16. Some of Matthew's favorite creators include Helmut Newton, Vivienne Westwood, Jeremy Scott, Richard Avedon, Sharon Gault, and Grace Coddington. His interest and knowledge in the fashion world also influences and shapes his artistry. Matthew knows high-fashion, trends, what people want, and how to achieve it.
