I prefer location shooting, so, photoshoots near my home in Tempe would be ideal. I certainly don’t mind going to other locations. At first, I want to shoot some very basic ‘pretty girl in pretty atmosphere’ pictures. After we get comfortable with that, we’ll move on to pictures that have a little more thought involved.

When I ask a girl to pose, I usually request that you ‘move around,’ and experiment with movements, shapes, angles, or, whatever. I’ll add things like ‘look over there,’ or, ‘try putting weight on your back foot.’

I’m working on a small list of things that I’ll say to try to inspire you to try new poses and expressions, like:  “Pretend you are a tree…  You’re an angel… Where’s Waldo… Be slinky… Be a slinky… You are prouder than thou…  An eagle on the wind… The hunted…  Look at my toe… Waltz… You're a tornado.” 

My girlfriend, Patricia, has a decent photo studio at her home in Phoenix, near 51st Ave and McDowell. We might do photoshoots there. Patricia might join us on location shoots, and of course, shoots at her studio. Patricia’s way is more about creating angles, or, what they call “negative space.” I imagine it might be fun to shoot with us, because, one minute you are acting as a character, and, the next minute, you are experimenting to see what your body can do.

For TF* shoots, I'll email four of the best color corrected and touched up pictures to you about a week after the shoot. And, if you want, I'll mail a DVD with about 500 of the unfinished pictures to you if you want to critique your poses. All pictures are full size.

Listed at the bottom of this section are the Magic Hour times for the best outdoor shots  If we shoot at Patricia's studio (51st ave and McDowell), we can shoot around 6:00 pm on Tuesdays, before 6:00 pm on Wednesdays, or before 2:00 pm on Thursdays.

For Magic Hour photoshoots, the Civil Twilight times listed below are the key times.  I would arrive at a location about 15 minutes after the the listed time, and then the model should show up shortly after me.  Generally, morning Magic Hour shoots would be from April through October.
