I am reaching out to you not from impulse and an idea. I have thought about this and never had the guts to do it. Time is flying and I know the younger the better so the right time to start something new is usually immediately. Coming from Kenya at the tender age of ten was the beginning of the biggest change of my life. I was taught English and Swahili in school along with my tribal Language at home. Swahili is known by many dialects in many East African countries. Adjustment from the equator to the North American continent took some time and I was a picky boy. A burger was probably the only thing I would touch or chicken. A Luo is what I am and my tribe is located close to Lake Victoria where they fish every day on the world’s second largest fresh water lake to Lake Superior in North America.
I have been told many times that I am very handsome and worthy of photography, but my humbleness would not let me fool myself. My English became more and more perfect watching cartoons through school as well. The period of time and age which I was at when I arrived on this side of the earth allowed me to acquire an adequate Old English structured American accent followed with a Luo tone. The Luo have voices with lots of bass. They speak from the chest permanently and very clearly pronounce every English letter.
Through this transition I have always been physically active and I could not afford joining gym or a sport since I had no parents. I always wanted to be muscular as a kid and began early routinely working out while watching a show at thirteen. Music may have been playing too, and I remember my pull up bar which embarrassed me many times. Today I can perform plenty, my strength caught on to my light weight Kenyan body and thanks to wisdom I have achieved greatness. Something else I was wise to spark was my Warrior style hair. This one began six years ago and now are barley shoulder length yet I can hide it and to other styles. Being small dreads they complete the look even though they were “accidently” created to save money. I threatened to shave and received a big NO every time. Strong facial features add on to my smile which holds great contrast with skin tone.
Looks aren’t everything though and my past and present experiences have molded my personality all on its own. Fueled by progress and outrageously motivated, I feel as though this should have been done long ago. I understand that Loyalty is Royalty and ready to write the book of my perseverance.
