I have been doing hair and makeup for as long as I can remember. As a young child, my mother would let me express my creativity through makeup, wild hairstyles, and a variety of art classes. Throughout my teenage years, I often received acknowledgements for my daring hair-dos worn through middle school. In high school I attended a charter school focused on the arts where I joined the dance company Jazz-N-Pizzaz. I quickly became head of the costume department, as well as lead makeup and hairstylist helping the other dancers prepare for shows. I have been a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2008. I currently work at a salon called Tangelo here in Sacramento, California. My work ranges from styling hair for an independent films, through makeup on rappers in music videos. I am open to new experiences and would love to get into more editorial projects. I hope to work with you soon.
