Before attending Make-Up Designory, I studied a Bachelor of International Relations in Odessa, Ukraine. After completing this Undergraduate, I decided this was not the path I wanted to take. I instead chose to follow my life-long dream and passion of working in the make-up industry. I always wanted to apply my creativity for the benefit of others, whether they be clients wishing to impress at a wedding, business conference, or other special event; or whether they be clients in the fashion, media, or film industries wanting to put together the perfect photoshoot or production. The Fashion Make-Up Artistry qualification at Make-Up Designory provided the perfect foundation to apply what I had learnt in a broad range of contexts, and also to test the boundaries in situations such as Avant-Garde. I really live my motto when working with every client: to beautify naturally and organically.

I have worked as a Cosmetics and Fashion Sales Assistant at Loading Bay in Cape Town, South Africa. There I supported with the selling of high-end fashion items and cosmetic products such as Aesop, to customers. I learnt the importance of understanding one's products in detail and then matching the products to each client's needs.
