I'm an oil painter who worked as a freelance illustrator for years, mostly in the fantasy genre for stuff like Game of Thrones and Magic: The Gathering. I recently switched over to doing gallery work where I am looking to appeal to a broader audience while still keeping a hint of imaginary worlds in my paintings.

Above all else, I am looking for the ability to convey emotion in my models. My best paintings have come from models who extrapolated from the rough ideas I have given them. I usually do shoots that last 2-3 hours to get a handful of good shots that I then paint from.
