There are ideas that words fail to adequately communicate. In Peter Shaffer's 'Amadeus', Mozart comments upon the nature of his chosen art form:

"A dramatic poet would have to put all those thoughts down one after another just to represent this second of time. The composer can put them all down at once - and still make us hear each one of them."

Photographs can do this. They tell stories the way that all art forms do, and like other visual mediums, they do so in a single moment. It is the essence of artistic minimalism. I am a story-teller, and it is my great honor and privilege to work alongside artists who also seek to use our talents to create things greater than ourselves.
