Yao Zeus Mohammed is a Fashion Designer from Togo, Ghana and Ivory Coast all at the same time. He lived in a remote refugee camp for 16 years with seven other nationality. Inspired by the diverse cultural background, Yao founded Mawogan to promote and show the world the beauty of our culture through fashion.

Yao is specialized in African fabrics and has extended the opportunity to African artist in Kampala,Uganda, Togo and Ghana who hand-make shoes, accessories, ear ring, bracelets and necklace made out of African fabric to have their work shown to the beautiful people of Vancouver .
