About me
I am an artist and educator. I worked for many years as a professional commercial artist and designer after studying at (what is now known as) OCADU in Toronto during the early nineties. I am now producing images with less of a commercial look and more of a fine art approach.

Commissions
I accept commissions for figurative artwork done in charcoal, pastel and Conté. My current figures have a natural style with emotional subtleties and psychological overtones.

Models Needed
I want to connect with models who are available to pose for life drawing for a group of artists in Brampton, Ontario (www.visualartsbrampton.com). Pay is $60 for 2.5 hours (evenings). The length of poses are usually a combination of one minute to twenty minutes in length.

I am also looking for models to work with me on my own fine art projects where I need longer, sustained poses, both nude and costume. When I work with a model I sometimes have a very specific vision of what I am trying to achieve. When this is the case I provide a lot of direction to the model in terms of posing, props, costumes and hair. Much of my best work, however, has resulted from collaboration with models where I provide minimal direction, because the personality of the model then comes out in my sketches.
