My name is Ryan and I got into photography for a couple of reasons but most importantly it's because of my love for oil painting. I've been an oil painter for several years and have had a desire to work with models. The nature of oil paint and my technique have not allowed me to work with a live model and have always worked from photograph. That's where my new passion began. Currently I've only worked with a couple of models (people I know) and have had some difficulty finding reliable people through Facebook. Which brings me to Model Mayhem. I love fashion, interesting lighting, cool locations and all of that but I also love very simple beauty. Louis Treserras, Natalia Fabia and Omar Ortiz are some painters that inspire me. If you like the work that I have so far I would love to work with you. If it matters to you I shoot with a Nikon D7100 and have lights, umbrellas, and backdrops but no studio.
