A photograph is an expression of what I feel about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what I feel about life in its entirety. It cannot be explained , nor can it be contained in words. It's this belief that has brought me to who I am.
Growing up under the wings of a photographer dad, I had started noticing the nuisances of photography at an early age. After my stint of apprenticing commercial photographers in Mumbai, I shifted base to Kolkata. In the last few years, I have taken up several independent as well as commissioned projects. My work encompasses - portraits, weddings, products, fashion, beauty, catalogue and travelogue.

I was accredited with AFIAP and EFIAP from Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique in 2014 and 2015 respectively with number of accolades from Indian and international Photography Salons around the world. Presently, pursuing my Masters in Image and Electronic Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, I intend to explore the realms of imaginal surfaces. Nothing gives me more pleasure than invoking the human element into my work or watching the photographs take shape in the darkroom.
Photography has the unique ability to invoke the surreal while still portraying the real. I travel through life looking for new ways to express emotions I have felt or scenes I have encountered.
