A sub-cultural culmination of Walter Elias Disney and Lori Petty; Perth's 25 year-old, Penny Dreadful, is planting her flag deep in the soil of Australia's fashion scene as the oxymoronic answer to a re-incarnation of Chrissy Amphlett's fabled evil twin.
As a model, Penny is equipped with a strict self-discipline and fresh photogenicity that can switch from a party girl to a Hollywood glamour icon, from a Toni Basil to a Toni Collette, from Manson to Monroe, on command.
Under design label "Desperate Loser's Club" she wields an outrageous penchant for handling her contorted colour wheel in such a manner that invokes images of a Lewis Carroll-esque, poly-chromatic Russian Roulette tournament.
Finally, Dreadful's 'Stylist' label boasts her signature prowess unleashed with a seemingly mathematical precision. A self-proclaimed “Try-it Grrrl" (inspired by the female-led punk movement "Riot Grrrl" from the early 1990s) and "DIY material mechanic", she thrives on facing the improbable and survives by improvising, inventing and creating that special something that often only initially exists barrelling down the catwalk in her imagination.

The pot of gold at the base of the rainbow has been sprinkled with deadly anthrax. The four-leafed clover screams in pain once picked. The note forced inside the fortune cookie reads a grave warning. The Penny found has Dreadful intent.
