About Me

As a photographer, I have found that I truly enjoy artistically capturing the human form in creative poses, creative lighting, creative locations, and creative artistic conflicts or contrasts. I believe that the beauty of the human form … especially the female form … is something that cannot be mimicked or duplicated. The human form has been a part of the artistic eye for millenniums … in drawing, painting, sculpting, and photography. Finding beautiful, creative, and/or unique ways to capture the human form is what inspires me to do what I love most. The best part of artistic photography is that there is no specific "look" or "height" or "weight" requirements, nor any other limitations often placed upon the subject, like there is in traditional fashion or commercial modeling. Fine art and creative art photography is only limited by imagination of the photographer, the model or subject, and the other creative people or minds involved.

If you would like to discuss being a part of a creative and artistic fine art shoot, send me a message and lets chat! I look forward to working with new people, and I love hearing ideas from other creative-minded people, so let's make some art.

"Our session was beautifully captured! I appreciated Doug's direct approach, professionalism and accommodation on set. He is a great communicator: from the confirmation of the assignment booking details, providing photographs of the studio we would be shooting in, to discussing in advance what we were each hoping to accomplish, and welcoming feedback on post-editing, as well as, indulging me in an 'after action review' of the shoot experience; we had established an even greater understanding of our collaboration styles and interpretations of art. I am looking forward to working with him on many more collaborations in the future." Read less
