Many of my subjects are in the entertainment industry – most often musicians, singers, rappers, actors and models including fitness/bodybuilders.  I prefer clean simple images that emphasize the subject when in the studio and to some extent in my live concert work as well.  I come from a photo journalistic background and I think that is reflected in the way I like to photograph subjects.  I am more the observer than the director.  I like to see what is unique in the subject and capture that rather than forcing poses.  Images tend to be more portrait-like but function in the desired field.  Please check out the website links!

For more than 10 years I photographed concerts and special events for Smooth Jazz radio in Chicago, worked extensively with GRP Records, and freelanced for Atlantic, Warner Brothers, and Virgin Records.  My photographs have appeared on CD releases featuring Ramsey Lewis Jr, Grover Washington Jr, Nancy Wilson, Nick Colionne, and Nelson Rangell.  My client base is varied; I have photographed a CD release party for Snoop Dog, a concert with the late Johnny Cash, and an Al Jarreau concert to launch a new Jaguar auto.
