JAZ a native of Seattle, WA, the current Miss Black California USA 2018 and currently residing in Los Angeles, CA is a rising R&B/Pop Solo recording artist, model and actress, who has a passion for maintaining her artistic integrity by reintroducing the type of sound, image and wholesomeness reminiscent of 90's artist who prided themselves in being memorable.

JAZ prides herself on diversity and has ripped the runway for many great causes, such as but surely not limited to Pretty Girl Retreat (Building Positive Self Esteem in Young teen girls), Bienestar Famila (Spanish costume designer Ricardo Soltero), Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Awareness, and the 6th Annual Ankara Festival.

JAZ is wholly invested in cultivating her craft and aims to be the type of triple threat artist that creates beauty (music, acting and model) that transcends time with timeless elements like the contributions of artist she admires such as Aaliyah, Janet Jackson, Rhianna, Beyonce, Cindy Crawford, Kendall Jenner, Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell, Grace Jones, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Hudson, Lupita Nyong's and the list goes on.

It is JAZ ultimate goal to use her artist platform as a model/actor/singer to influence positive change in the world one artistic attribute at a time, making her a very valued member of the Model Mayhem community.
