I have always been interested in modeling from a young age; whether it was playing in my mom's makeup or walking in her heels, I wanted to feel like a top model. During my pre-teen years I went through quite the awkward phase, I was taller than all of my friends and very lanky. It made me feel insecure and it took sometime before the positive things my loved ones would say to me to boost my self-esteem kicked in. At 17 years old, still very young, I feel more confident and inspired to pursue my modeling career, which has recently begun to take off. I was nominated by teen model as their teen model of the day recently and was super excited. I just want to continue to strive and I feel being a member of the Model Mayhem community will not only help me do so, but I will hopefully inspire other teenage girls to let their light shine.
