For over a decade now, I have worked as a freelance illustrator (books, magazines,games, etc), and though that has provided me many things, artistic freedom has been pushed to the side.  So, I created the SE7EN14 project to examine an unexpressed facet of myself.  Not only is there an element of exploration, but the challenge of allowing myself to let it come out and be both unashamed and uncompromising about it.  So far it has been both a huge learning experience and extremely liberating.

You'll notice quickly that the female form takes a strong role in my paintings.  There is the obvious sexual element, but I also combine that subject matter to parallel my struggle to allow myself to feel as free and myself as much as I possibly can.  The idea of being nude in nature  represents an ultimate form of freedom and liberation.  To learn more about my art and exploration, please visit my website SE7EN14.COM
