My name is Ryan Thomas Lay and I am a senior photography student with a minor in fine arts. I started my creative aspirations with 2D artwork and eventually took photography classes in high school that grabbed my interest. Much of my work to date is composed of portraiture, surrealism, and manipulation. Photographing people is my profession, so I take every bit of it seriously. However, making sure that my models are comfortable, having fun, and contributing ideas is my primary goal!

In May of 2016 I will be graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) and moving back to St. Louis where I will be a professional portrait photographer. My goal is to work in the Fashion industry either as a photographer or art director. If you have any questions about my work or would like to know how to contribute, I am always looking for models to collaborate with!
