Any and all creative people are welcome to add me. I am here to broaden my horizons and to be inspired. Inspiration is a vital part of any creative work. It is what allows for the evolution of ones work over time.
I am a portrait/wedding photographer. I've not used many models, however Ive realized everything seems to go much smoother when working with someone with experience. I have absolutely no interest in doing nudes or any other fine art photography. I'm joining Model Mayhem in hopes of finding models and fellow professionals to bounce ideas off of and perhaps throw together an outstanding shoot every now and then.

My roots in photography are actually grounded in graphic design. I am formally trained as a graphic artist. This gives me an extreme edge in post production. Though I do try and get every shot as close to a 'machine print' as possible, its just not very realistic in todays digital world to not be able to do extensive digital enhancement. My art morphed into photography when I was asked to help on a photo shoot and realized I had a better 'eye' for it than the skilled photographer I was working with. This lead me to educate myself on the technical aspects of the camera and photography. Which has all lead me to be the full time photographer I am today.
Spring forward to today. I have now been a professional/full time photographer for 8 years. 6 of those years have been photographing for myself and my company Stellar Studios Photography. I am insistant on using a generic name for the company simply because I hire and work with a number of photographers for a number of reasons. I am ALWAYS looking to expand my portfolio and am ALWAYS looking for those "next level" shots.
As for leaving comments, I will always try and return the favor. But I ask that you be honest and constructive with your criticism. If you dont like something about one of my images, say so. If you have an idea as to how the image could be better, again, say so. As flattering as it is, I really have no use for simple compliments as they dont help me to improve my art i any way.
I have recently been drawn to cosplay and costume tyoe shoots. Something about them just hold my attention. I think this is because the entire image is presented as fantasy. Where a portrait, no matter how perfect it may be, is still staged and rooted in reality. If you too are interested in doing this tyoe of shoot, I would be willing to pay a generous rate for an exceptional model, hair stylist/MUA, costume designer, and assistant. These types of shoots are very few and far between and always show me what I am truly capable of creatively. Message me if you would be interested. Thank you and maybe we will work together someday.
