The world is full of wild, beautiful things. We have the joy and the honor to not only experience that, but to add and contribute to it. Everyone is capable of great things. At the fundamental level, we are part of this world and the power to create can be the most inherent, natural skill you have. And I love to encourage that in people.

If you can pick up a pencil and draw letters, you can learn to draw. You can learn to paint. If you love music, you can sing it out loud, you can learn to play an instrument. You can dance. You can write great stories, or just tell them to your friends. You can take a crappy piece of earth and grow a garden. You can grow a garden in your soul. You can take wonderful pictures and point out to an audience how beautiful an oil puddle can be.

If you have the time to buy coffee in the morning, you have a moment to look inside yourself and take the things that make you unique and wonderful and share them with the world. Don't ever get in your own way. Don't ever be afraid. Okay, it is all right to be afraid (even a pounding heart is wonderful), BUT DO IT ANYWAY. The world, and yourself, will be better for it.

Online communities are great avenues for meeting people, encouraging creativity and lending support when needed. I love to see people shine and help make it happen. Life isn't about getting by, by doing the least amount of work. It is about running around like a mad man, doing and experiencing as much as you can. You can do more. You can be more.

Life is wonderful. Be wonderful and beautiful while you're in it.
