I am a local Kansas City Fine Art Photographer who's always had a passion for the arts. I draw as well as paint and sculpt but mainly my heart lies with the digital photographic realm. I have been doing photography for 5 years now and have been working with photoshop for that same amount of time. I'm fresh out of high school however I'm currently taking photography classes in college and working with a one on one mentor (R. Scott Anderson). I want to be a freelance photographer and be able to support myself by running my own business while teaching young minds how to take photos too. My goal in the next year is to build my equipment and gain more experience while also getting my name out there.
I use mainly Canon cameras but I have experience with Nikon. I use Adobe Photoshop CC to edit all of my images, but I'm trying to learn Light-room. I like to think my photographic style is more on the edge of fine art than just strictly portraiture, which is what I enjoy taking photos of most. My photos are usually colorful or dramatic and I have experience in doing some drastic fine art editing than the regular modeling editing. I can do makeup and help choose outfits along with helping to pose my models since I too have done a bit of modeling. However I like to leave most of the modeling up to the model as they usually know what works best with their bodies. If I see a certain thing they're doing I usually stop them and have them do it again to get a better shot or angle. My models have told me I'm very comfortable to be around and they always seem to enjoy themselves.
