Hi. I'm, Ted Olivas. I'm a Havre de Grace native who has only recently (2015) gotten in to photography. What brought me to this trade is my freelancing career as a web developer. More and more clients wanted me to provide the images for the sites I was developing. At first I was outsourcing this. But one day I decided to pick up a camera and do it myself. It was for a site I was building for free and it was a rational, cost effective decision. Well what I learned was that it was a ton of fun. And even though I'm a novice, I was okay, better than some, at it. So I started to hone my skills. I shot at early morning, and late at night. Middle of the day and in all those less-favourable times. But now I'm at a point in my growth that I realized its time to start working with models. I had a friend years ago in my original field of cooking who has gone on to become a great chef of her own. But she used to do modelling on the side. (she's extremely beautiful) And she used to tell me that she used Modelmayhem.com as her source for finding gigs. So I figured, now that I'm at this point in my learning, I should join as well. I don’t have a lot of experience working with models. And I have more to learn from the models than I have to offer. I hope to find people who are great to work with and willing to share their knowledge. At this point I mostly work TFP but I will pay for quality. I'd like to work with many of you and hope to hear from ALL of you! After that, I don't know what else to say about myself at this time.
