Born in Santiago, Chile (08/22/1991), he was first drawn to photography through shooting the Chilean and Latin American landscapes while traveling. Coming from an artistic family, he was greatly influenced by his mother's landscape paintings, his sisters graphic design aesthetic and his brother as a musician.
After High School, Sebastian went on to study Graphic Design at Universidad Diego Portales (Chile) where he learned about conceptual art, animation, art history. During his studies he began to shoot 35mm film. After university he began working in the music business as a photographer shooting for local record labels in Chile. He covered events and press photos for music festivals and artists. In 2015 Sebastian traveled to Los Angeles, CA to continue honing his skills and studied photography at New York Film Academy. His work reflects his passion for the meticulous detail of textures, the grain, geometry and is a perfect meld of his skill at capturing creative people in an abstract ways. Hey, I'm interested to come to America in future but at the moment while traveling is still difficult, I am offering remote shoots in Melbourne until March 4th or 7th. I'm currently working with other photographers to do remote/virtual shoots but I hope to get my own gear & do more on location remote shoots so I should have other locations around Australia to offer in future. I have a city central apartment with a rooftop balcony, large natural light windows, a range of backdrops & can use the buildings facilities of a gym, spa, pool & sauna as well as the indoor concreate fire escape. My rates for remote shoots are less than what I charge for in person shoots. Let me know how many hours you would like me to quote you for & if you like to pay by PayPal or a bank transfer to my UK bank or AUS bank. We would tether the camera to the laptop & screen share so you can control the settings/shots. We can chat over FaceTime or WhatsApp during the shoot.
