My name is Michelle.
I absolutely LOVE my job as a Makeup Artist.

I've spent the last 8 years finding my place within the Beauty Industry, last year I acquired my License as a Master Esthetician specialised in advanced skin treatments.
As a Gemini, I find communication to be imperative to a team's success and ultimately - a beautifully executed photo or film take. 'Livin' the dream' as a Pro Freelance Makeup Artist, able to enhance and create beauty through artistic expression by using cosmetics, generally located in/around the Greater Seattle Area.

I've always had a passion for seeing the beauty in everyone, using various techniques, colour combinations, and o life through cosmetics. the skin is my canvas and makeup is my paint - and I love what I do. within a person passion for expressing myself artistically for as long as I can remember.
Graduated College in 2006, receiving my Associates Degree in Multimedia Graphic Design and Web Production - with a love to create beauty through art, no matter what form the canvas may be.

I scored the single, most coveted position every budding, young makeup artist DREAMS of being someday. The MAC Cosmetic counter, inside Nordstrom, hired me. It was my first "big break" with an actual Makeup Artist hourly position!! I WAS ECSTATIC!

Working for MAC was the funnest job I've ever had. At the time, I was beyond green - inexperienced & plain scared to DEATH! Thankfully, I lucked out, I was sent to their well known, week-long, intensive training: "MAC BASIC" - surreal.
Put on by all 3 of the company's Regional Trainers, and only comes by maybe once annually? A life event I will NEVER forget.

I moved my way up their ranks, quickly joining their 'Elite' by passing/becoming a Certified MAC Makeup Artist { a title proudly embossed on my silver Nordstrom business card }.

Last year I graduated Beauty College and became a Board Certified Licensed Master Esthetician, specializing in Advanced Skincare Treatments and Lazer Therapy.
I'm currently working part-time at a Medical Spa in Redmond, as a Lazer Technician & Makeup Artist.
