Hello Everyone! I am a San Diego freelance photographer and shoot on location around southern California.

Photography for me is an artistic venture formed not only through panache but also through my personal attention and the experience I create for the model. I'm up-front, pretty laid back with a good sense of humor, and I like to have fun while shooting. I understand first time models and I enjoy working with them to achieve their goals.

If I am contacting you, I do not necessarily have a proposed idea for a shoot. My style is to collaborate with the model on developing a shoot. It is much more productive when I learn a little bit about the model: what are your portfolio goals, what is in your existing wardrobe, what ideas do you want fulfilled, and where are open to shooting. I prefer to communicate via text and not MM.

I always use a model release and I have reasonable rates. I do shoot Time For (TF) if you have a look or idea that I would like to add to my portfolio. I also do like to help new models so I do shoot TF for those looking to build their portfolio.

I began with a 35mm Nikon and a 35mm Canon but I have since transitioned to DSLRs. I shoot with a Nikon 600D, Nikkor lenses, and speedlights. My favorite photographers are Ellen Stagg, Richard Rasner and especially Helmut Newton.

Aside from photography, I hold a B.A from Cal State University Fullerton and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
