My name is Laura Patricia Beltran but on social media I am known as CAKEFACEDBEAUTY! The reason I chose this name was because people are always trying to put down women and men who love makeup down by saying we have a cake on our face or a pound of makeup, so in result of that I let it be known that I don't care about negativity because I love what i do no matter what you call me =] I have practiced doing makeup for 10 years now ! I've never gone to school for it , but i feel it shouldn't matter . I have learned and continue to learn how to properly apply makeup and clean/sanitize brushes as well as the makeup. I am always open to learning new techniques as well as difficult wants and needs of every client as they are all important to me and my career as a freelance makeup artist! I strive for better always !! I have started to build my makeup kit and it is slowly growing. I will always love what I do more than any amount of money, i'm a very humble person and I always feel if you love the money more than your job it will really show through your work and clients are likely to find someone who actually cares. I don't want to be famous but i do want to be an impact for all women around the globe one day ! I want people to feel something when I finish doing their makeup. Wether its them feeling more confident and happy or better about something they are going through ! Women don't wear makeup only to cover acne or imperfections they wear it sometimes to cover feelings or situations such as heartbreak or judgement . But women should know that they are all amazing human beings because they can go through hell and still make it out without and burns =] I love what I do! I know that I am good and I will only keep getting better as i grow into the makeup artist i know i can be !
